Compliance without the headache

Sales tax rules are complicated. Your filings don’t have to be.

In the US, each state sets its own sales tax rules, and selling online can create obligations in states where you have no office. In Canada, you may need to collect GST/HST, and PST or QST in some provinces.

We track where you need to register, keep your sales tax records accurate and prepare your returns on time, so you can sell with confidence.

A clear filing calendar

You’ll always know which returns are due, when and how much — with no last-minute surprises.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to collect sales tax in other US states?
Possibly. Since 2018, most states require out-of-state sellers to collect sales tax once their sales into the state pass a set threshold. We’ll review your sales and tell you where you stand.
When do I need to register for GST/HST in Canada?
Generally once your taxable sales pass $30,000 over four consecutive calendar quarters, you are no longer a small supplier and must register. You can also choose to register earlier.
Do you file in every state and province?
Yes. We can prepare returns for any US state and any Canadian province where you are registered.
